Refunds and cancellation
Last updated 19 October 2026
We sell credits for digital papers. This page says what is delivered, when, and when you get your money or your credit back.
What you buy and how it is delivered
One credit creates one full paper, delivered in your account as a PDF, with Word and LaTeX downloads and up to 5 AI revisions. Delivery is digital and usually takes about two minutes after you press Create. Nothing is shipped.
There is nothing to cancel
We do not run subscriptions or automatic renewals. You pay for credits once, and you are never charged again unless you buy again.
When you get a credit back automatically
If a paper fails to generate or is stopped because it took too long, its credit is returned to your account automatically and the preview stays so you can try again. You do not need to contact us.
When you get a refund
- Unused purchase. If you have not used any credit from a purchase, you can ask for a full refund within 7 days of paying.
- Charged but no credits. If you were charged and the credits were not added to your account within 48 hours, we add them or refund you in full, as you prefer.
- Charged twice. We refund any duplicate payment.
- A fault we cannot fix. If a delivered paper has a technical fault (for example it cannot be opened or downloaded) and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, we refund the price of that credit.
When we do not refund
Once a paper has been created and delivered, the credit is used and cannot be returned, because the paper cannot be taken back. We cannot refund because a paper was graded, rejected, or flagged by a similarity or AI-detection tool, because you changed your mind, or because you did not check the draft. Revisions are included so you can improve a paper; use them.
How to ask
Email hello@mayavis.com from the address you signed in with. Tell us the date, the amount and what went wrong. We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method and normally reach you in 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
